Herbal Skateboards was created in 2005 with the simple aim of producing quality, USA-grade skateboarding goods without the heavy price-tag. We started by having boards shipped over from Canada, directly from a well known woodshop, pressed from 100% Canadian Hardrock Maple. After reasonable local success and still in keeping of our original aim to keep costs for the consumer down without compromising the quality, we started to try and sort an easier way to get smaller quantities of boards to keep the brand fresh. We found a solution to this with a UK based skateboard printer who have a direct supply of the Canadian Maple we were printing on before. This meant we could keep the wood we used in the first instance, support another UK based brand and keep the boards turning over quickly. Now we are supporting a number of local guys with our products and most importantly, having loads of fun making films and promotional media for the brand.
