Search Independent products below:Independent Truck Company has been involved in hard core skateboarding since it's inception in 1978 at the Newark pro bowl contest in May of that year. Up to that point all skateboarding product had been surf orientated and looked very soft with pastel colours, sunsets and hibiscus flowers. Indy thn came along with the full on punk rock attitude that more fitted the attitude of the skateboarders of the day who shunned the long hair, flairs and sandals of their older brothers. To this day, at Independent Truck Company we maintain this full on up front attitude to what we do and who we are. This is reflected in the apparel line, that while keeping one eye on what is happening, never loosing track of who we really are and what this brand really is. "Independent"
