Prime is an inspiring, independent, skater-owned company with over three decades of local skateboarding history.
Founded by Nick Marker, a dedicated Plymothian skater, Prime has grown into a multi-faceted company at the heart of Plymouth's skateboarding scene comprising a shop, indoor skatepark, cafe and social space that together bridges generations of skateboarders whilst building communities. Our brick-and-mortar shop was established in 2008, and the skatepark was formed in 2009 to provide Plymouth with a dedicated skate shop and skatepark. Together, both entities prioritise community spirit, inclusivity, and valuing honesty and integrity as our core principles. Our ongoing mission is to provide a welcoming, sheltered, safe space for as many people as possible.
